Straight Answers

How we’d choose, honestly.

What is the best commercial Level 2 EV charger in 2026?
It depends on the operating model, not the spec sheet. For integrated network polish: ChargePoint CP6000. For cost-optimized open-network flexibility: Autel MaxiCharger AC series on OCPP. For sites standardized on ABB switchgear: Terra AC. For design-forward workplaces: Wallbox Pulsar Pro. For cold climates and curbside: FLO CoRe+. Faith Energy installs all of them, and the honest answer starts with who charges, who pays, and what you report.
What should a commercial Level 2 charger cost installed?
Hardware runs $700–$9,000 depending on form factor and ports; installed totals typically land $2,500–$8,000 per wall-mounted port and $8,000–$20,000 per dual-port pedestal station, driven mostly by electrical scope rather than brand choice.
Do all commercial Level 2 chargers work with any software network?
No — and this is the most expensive detail to miss. OCPP-open hardware (Autel, ABB, Wallbox commercial, and others) can change networks later; some ecosystems commit hardware to their own cloud. Decide the software model before the hardware order.
